Why We Are Mad and Angry

The American healthcare system is dangerous and crumbling, and so we are mad and angry!

Every year, our healthcare system kills, destroys or devastates hundreds of thousands of American lives, and so we are mad and angry!

Our federal and state governments have completely failed to protect us and continue to look the other way, and so we are mad and angry!

Our nation’s healthcare providers continue to hide behind its shroud of secrecy and deceit, and so we are mad and angry!

Our healthcare system fails to disclose and continues to bury important information that affects its own patients, and so we are mad and angry!

The American medical community continues to escape accountability and responsibility for the consequences of their actions, and so we are mad and angry!

Until the day comes when medical errors, hospital acquired infections and other preventable adverse events are virtually eliminated from American healthcare, we will continue to be mad and angry!

Until the day comes when patients and consumers can have access to as much information about their healthcare providers & institutions as they have about buying a computer or a car, we will continue to be mad and angry!

We are Americans Mad and Angry! . . . and you should be too!
